Suffer the Children

For all too many children, home is not a safe place. On any given day, thousands of children are in the protective custody of our county Department of Children and Family Services.

Life for these children and teens is confusing and heartbreaking. They have suffered greatly at the hands of others, and have led unstable lives since they were removed from their homes - often shifting from parent to relative to foster care - sometimes repeating the cycle several times. They are hurt, discouraged and often emotionally and behaviorally disturbed. These children, and other children and families in need, are the focus of CCH's network of services.

Cleveland Christian Home serves more than 1,200 children, youth and families who are struggling with mental illness, abuse or neglect.
