Oct/06 - "Mom" Thorpe Finally Home
On a beautiful, sunny Saturday, alumni, Board, staff and friends gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Mrs. Anna Noble Garver "Mom" Thorpe, and finally bring her home. Memorial Services organized by CCH and the Ellbrook Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star (of which Anna Thorpe was a member) took place on October 4th on the main campus of Cleveland Christian Home to pay tribute to Mrs. Thorpe, Administrator of the Home from 1925-1962. Her ashes were interred in a Memorial Garden on campus Saturday afternoon.

After 36 years, Mom Thorpe will come home to Cleveland (8/23/08) CLEVELAND, Ohio (8/23/08) - Burials are rarely cause for excitement, but on Oct. 4, Cleveland Christian Home will celebrate both the homecoming and interment of one of its most beloved family members, Anna "Mom" Thorpe.

Jun/20 - Department of Children and Family Sevices supports CCH
Cleveland Christian Home is very pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract for $500,000 for its Transitional Jobs/Youth Employment Program by the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services.

CCH is grateful for the support of the United Way in providing first-time funding to two of its School-Based programs: Girls Circle & Why Try.
